Are you thinking of buying a house? AAHC will be having its annual Spring Homebuying Workshop in Virginia on Saturday, April 28th (rescheduled from 4/7/18 due to inclement weather), and in Maryland on Saturday, May, 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

At the 2018 Homebuying Workshop you can meet with local lenders to shop around for a mortgage in today’s market. Attendees will:

• Be able to meet and speak in person with housing experts and local lenders to look for a new mortgage, or refinance an existing one
• Gain valuable information on their rights in housing and financing
• Learn about available homebuyer grant and assistance programs
• Learn about home purchasing for low-to-moderate income families

This is a FREE event! Attendees will be eligible for prizes including $1,000 Down Payment Assistance, as well as be able to receive a free copy of their 3-agency credit report with scores(which is a soft-pull). To be eligible they must be registered and present at the workshop.
