CKA is hiring an intern, and we are also approaching the deadline for our external CKA-KALCA Public Service Internship Program in Washington, DC and New York City.

For our in-house intern, we are looking to hire someone on a part-time basis (20 hours/week) to provide administrative and programmatic support to our Washington, DC-based team. Responsibilities include the full range of administrative and clerical functions. In addition, this part-time intern may be asked to conduct basic research, edit documents, and assist with meeting planning.

The successful candidate will enjoy working independently as well as part of a small team of a mission-oriented organization. S/he will have excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and be a team player. S/he must be able to prioritize projects and tasks effectively, take initiative, demonstrate resourcefulness, and respond flexibly to changing demands in a dynamic work environment.
